Support Group for Teens (13-17)

Virtual

Family Program Virtual

This weekly support group provides an opportunity for teens to learn about the impacts of substance use/addiction on their family, communication skills, increase their coping skills and connect with each other, share their thoughts, concerns and life experiences. This group is facilitated by our highly skilled family services staff, who are experienced in working with children and teens impacted by substance use disorders in their family. 

Various weekly topics can include any number of the following topic. 

  • Substance use disorder and its impacts on the family.
  • Families' reactions to the substance use and behaviors in the past
  • Helpful boundary and communication skills
  • Sources of support for healing

 

All sessions are held on Wednesdays at 7:15-8:15 pm Central Time.
