An active member of the recovery community for 45 years, Bruner as has served as a certified spiritual director and a recovery specialist at the Hazelden Betty Ford Renewal Center. Bruner is also the founder and director of the Gopher State Tape Library. He is intensely passionate about helping his peers in Twelve Step recovery-creating treatment curriculums and conducting workshops and retreats across the country.

Kathy McCauley Kathy McCauley


A certified recovery specialist with thirty-three years of continuous sobriety, McCauley is a trained chaplain who specializes in substance use disorders. Her knowledge of varied spiritual practices, combined with her extensive knowledge of Twelve Step applications, makes her one of the most relatable speakers in the recovery and healing spaces.
