Family Services Orientation: Your first step in family support.

This family program is intended to support anyone (families, parents, spouses/partners, friends or support persons) that knows someone who struggles with addition and mental health. Through a combination of live virtual interactive educational presentations, Q & A with family program facilitators, peer feedback, and breakout groups participants will have opportunities to gain insights to their experiences and hear from other families. 

To support your healing journey, the facilitators of this program will provide foundational insights to the following: 

  • Addiction/Substance use disorders and its impact on the family.
    • We encourage you to watch our substance use disorders educational video: here.
    • If you are a parent of an adolescent or young adult, it is recommended that you watch this educational video series here
  • How families' reactions and ability to know how to support their loved ones is impacted by addiction 
  • Brief introduction to boundaries and communication. 
  • Review of services available to the family

Fridays: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm 
Saturdays: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
