This engaging four-part workshop helps teens understand and navigate the challenges of having a loved one with addiction. It offers education, emotional support, and practical tools for everyday life.
Workshop Details
What is Substance Use Disorder and What is Recovery? This first workshop will provide information about the disease model and understanding the facts of addiction and recovery.
The Teen Brain This workshop provides information on teen brain development and how these relate to emotions, behaviors, and needs.
Boundaries and Assertive Communication: This workshop provides evidence-based skills in setting and holding boundaries and healthy communication. Practice using clear, respectful, and confident communication skills in everyday situations.
Coping Skills and Self Care: Learn about tools for managing emotions as well as ways to care for ourselves
Cost of the workshops: The 4 consecutive workshops are $150 per participant, (this also includes 1 year of continuing care support meetings).
