Our Stacked Deck training equips educators and youth leaders with practical strategies, evidence-based content and engaging delivery methods tailored to young audiences. You'll gain the tools to guide youth in evaluating risks and rewards, fostering smart risk-taking and reducing gambling-related harm.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the facts and risks associated with youth gambling.
- Apply the structure, purpose and facilitation of the Stacked Deck curriculum including lessons, PowerPoint materials, games and role-play to create an action plan for implementation.
- Equip participants to prevent problem gambling and promote responsible decision-making through proactive education and positive risk-taking.

Senior Training Consultant
Lesley Kopsick is a Senior Trainer Consultant specializing in the development of trainings on substance use prevention, intervention, and related topics for K–12 schools and communities. She designs and delivers engaging in-person and virtual professional learning experiences that help schools, districts, and community partners build healthy, sustainable climates that support student well-being. She has a Bachelor's of Science from Barry University, a Master's of Science from National Louis University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction from Barry University.
*CEs available for psychologists, counselors, mental health and family therapy professionals, social workers, nurses, and medical professionals. Please check with your board to confirm credits. A CE certificate is emailed upon completion of post-course evaluations.

The Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School, provider #1487, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period:11/22/23-11/22/26. Social workers completing this course receive 7 continuing education credits.

The Graduate School is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Graduate School maintains responsibility for this program and its contents. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.
